I believe photography, or capturing the moment, occurs when all things come together and is highlighted by light, and a photographer's single purpose is to immortalize that one moment.. 

Having trained as an architect and an apprentice to a professional photographer in pre-digital camera days, has allowed me certain luxuries in reading symmetry, light and composition.
